The TD2 was only produced for a small period of time and approx 1700 examples were built. Main differences from a normal TD was a highly tuned engine using a 8.1:1 comp ratio, twin fuel pumps, additional Andrex dampers and a higher ratio rear- axle. Wire wheels were again another option which this car does have fitted .
