Mileage 12,354 Engine 4 Cylinder 1250cc XPAG engine Rego 49307-H 1951 TD MkII. This car has been in our family for 50 years since my uncle purchased it in 1974 with the intention of restoring it. Unfortunately he was killed in a road accident in 1976, so one of my Aunts purchased the car from his estate, and after many years had it fully restored which was completed in 2005. A lot of money was spent on the restoration, including a superb paint job, right down to Connelly Leather hide for the seats (think Rolls Royce).A few years later she passed it on to me in 2011, and since then I have completed sorting it out to bring it into a very good standard of repair. Brake wheel cylinders, new grill, fuel pump, suspension bushings have all been replaced, and recently I have rebuilt the Girling front shock absorbers and set the carburettors up correctly. However, since its rebuild the car has travelled about 2,000 kms in ten years, it doesn't get the use it deserves so it's time to find someone who will use and enjoy it.
