One of Holden's most popular family cars, more than 250,000 EHs were churned out in just two years on the market. Today, they remain a beloved classic among Holden fans. This car rolled off the production line in Melbourne as a Special model, which came with stainless moulding strips, optional two-tone paint, a Special interior, and Special badges. The EH has been with its current owners for the last five years, and in that time, they have dropped a period-correct 179 (2.9L) 6-cylinder motor into the vehicle. This motor was fully reconditioned by Motor Reco in 2022, with all new pistons, rings, bearings, mild cam, lifters and gear set. Also fitted was a new oil pump, water pump, fuel filter, electronic distributor, a new radiator, and the gearbox was repaired too. The fresh motor is attached to a 3-speed column shift manual transmission. Originally finished in Fowler's Ivory, the car has had an older restoration, which is quite neat for the age of the vehicle. Open the door, and you will find a completely original Alligator & Elephant Grey interior that is very tidy. The EH is complete with a file of paperwork documenting the rebuild and other parts fitted over the last five years.
