Sold by us late last year, the current owners have had an unforeseen circumstance which has led to the relisting of this beautiful creation. After sitting unused for around 20 years, the previous owner restored this HK approximately 8 years ago into what you see today. The car was originally driven by a 186 6-cylinder, but now sports a nice 5L V8 with an Edelbrock manifold, upgraded camshaft and upgraded headers. This is paired to a 3-speed 'Turbo 400' automatic transmission and a limited slip differential. Despite being an older restoration, the HK presents nicely for the age. The factory blue and white colour combination has been resprayed in 'Voodoo' as found on the later model VE Commodore. The upholstery is very original, finished in blue as well, with an upgraded B&M shifter and high performance gauges. Over all, it is very neat and makes a fantastic weekend cruiser. Eligible for historic registration, join the Holden car club and enjoy minimal on-road costs. The custom plates 'SHK007' are also available to go with the car if it stays in SA.
