This Mini is an original Australian delivered MkI Cooper 998. The current owner purchased the Mini in 2021, and then underwent an extensive restoration. The matching numbers 998cc '9Y' 4-cylinder engine was bored out to 1050cc and fitted with a camshaft by Clive Cams, ported cylinder heads, LCB extractors, and fully balanced. The 4-speed manual transmission received a refresh too. Underneath, the Mini was fit with Cooper S front and rear brakes, a Cooper S brake master cylinder, and a Cooper S RC40 exhaust. The Mini was stripped back and resprayed in its original Toga White, and the Cooper S wheel arch flares were fitted along with a right-side Cooper S fuel tank. Step inside this car, and you can see that no expense has been spared. From all new glass, all new seat bases and foam, thrust bearings, to check strap brackets, every single part of this car has been refurbished or replaced amidst the restoration. This Mini comes with a large file of receipts and tonnes of photos documenting the restoration process, and a Cooper and Cooper S driver's handbook.
