Built in July 1954, this FJ has been with the current owner for over 20 years. During this time, the FJ received a restoration with plenty of modifications. It has been fitted with a 202ci (3.3L) 6-cylinder motor along with a 3-speed automatic transmission from a Speedway car. Underneath the car is an HR Holden disc-brake front end, with a shortened Commodore steering rack, an LC Torana steering column, an HR differential and drum brakes in the rear. Other modifications include a Torana radiator, a stall converter, and a hot-rod brake booster. The interior features VDO electric gauges and a modified dash, with HR switches and ignition, as well as an under-dash air conditioner. The FJ was painted in a custom metallic blue that really catches the eye, and it now sits on a set of 17" mag wheels. The restoration was completed in 2007, and the car still presents nicely today. The FJ has been through engineering and is registered on the road with these modifications.
