Mileage 90096 Engine 2.3L - 6 Cylinder Rego REJ963 Just arrived - This 1963 Holden EJ Special is a gem of a car. It revolutionised Australia's car designing, being lower, modern and more compact with not a tailfin in sight, compared to many others on the market at the time. The EJ was a head turner and more than 10,000 a month were being immediately sold. It was the last model Holden to recieve the well-known Holden 'Grey' 2.3L 6 cylinder motor, and the car is paired with a 3 speed hydramatic automatic gearbox. Built in Adelaide, the car spent time in Queensland where it was given a closed-door respray in the original Wedgewood blue with a white roof. The Queensland owners also reupholstered the interior in its factory Saxe and Columbine Blue with Feathertop Grey. The EJ was then purchased by the current owners from Shannon's Auctions in 2018 and the engine was pulled out and dissassembled for a refresh a long with the engine bay being finished and some rust repairs. The car has also had a custom autosound retro-look radio fitted in the interior, and carries a sizeable file filled with receipts dating back to 2000 documenting a well maintained car.
