Mileage 24620 Engine 1.8L - 4 Cylinder Rego TBA Just arrived - This 1972 MGB GT is a great entry level classic. The MGB GT, designed by Pininfarina, was introduced in 1965. In differentiation to the MGB Roadster, the GT saw a 2+2 configuration, rear bench seat, luggage space in the rear, different suspension springs, anti-roll bars, and a different windscreen. The GT was equipped with a 1.8L "B-Series" 4 Cylinder engine supplied by BMC. This was paired with a 4 speed manual transmission complete with overdrive. Orignally a UK car, this MGB GT was imported to Australia in the 1970s. The current owner bought the car from WA in 2018 and has since spent lots of time getting it to a nice running condition. The exterior of this car saw an older respray, since with a few touch ups as neccessary but presents quite well. Since its new ownership, the car has recieved a carburettor rebuild, a new fuel tank, water pump, thermostat, battery and spark plugs. The car is also set with an aftermarket sunroof.
