Just arrived - This 1960 BSA Bantam D7 Super is a beautiful example of early motorcycles. In a bid to make the Bantam sportier and more capable, the D7 Super was produced. This new model had an entirely new swinging arm frame, hydraulic damped forks, uprated brakes, a nacelle-mounted headlamp, slimmer mudguards and a sportier-looking petrol tank. They continued to be powered by a 3-speed gearbox and 173cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine, though now with an alloy outer cover on the left side of the crankcase. This D7 has received a ground-up restoration and presents beautifully and is currently a running project. Though it is currently not wired up, it does come with a full wiring harness and another set of handlebars. Use it as a showpiece in the shed or wire it up for Sunday rides on a beautiful classic and events, this bike has lots of potential.
