Just Arrived - The 1971 BSA Lightning 650 was built for style and performance, with aspirations to be the all-round sports machine of the 60s. It was then redesigned in the early 70's with a new oil-in frame chassis, raised bars, a smaller fuel tank, minimalist chromed mudguards. The engine was also redesigned with aim to make it more reliable and quieter. The close ratio 4 speed gearbox was combined with a high lift camshaft made for lively acceleration, and truly shines cruising out on the country roads. This bike has had a ground up restoration and is in great condition. It has been fit with a Tri spark ignition, SRM Fuel pump, external oil filter, Ikon suspension, tapered head stem bearing, needle roller swing arm bearing, and all new wheel bearings. The Lightning is ready to go and turn heads with those who love a classic. Contact Ben Finnis - 0411 744 190. Interstate transport can be arranged. Finance available.
