Mileage 9170 Engine 350ci - V8 Rego OO1934 Just arrived - This 1934 Chevrolet Standard Hotrod is something to behold. The car was purchased in 1989 as a drag car and has since undergone a complete transformation. After driving it around for a few years, the owner decided it was time to strip the car down to the chassis and replaced everything down to each nut and bolt. The chassis was boxed and powder coated, the roof chopped down for that classic hot rod look and the sunroof filled in. The rest of the car was stripped back and refinished, remaining all steel save for the rear guards which couldn't be salvaged. In went a fresh 350ci Chevrolet motor that was completely rebuilt along with the gearbox and differential and fit with a 600cfm Holley carburettor. The clutch master and slave have been replaced, and a Hurst Competition Plus shifter fitted. The car runs a few upgraded pieces from its drag days, including HR Holden front cross member and suspension assembly, 9" Ford rear axel assembly and HK Holden steering column and box. The Hotrod comes with a significant file with receipts, documenting all the incredible work done over the years as well as two photo albums displaying the process and plenty of trophies. The car has travelled just over 9,000 km since it was completed and is in excellent condition, with flames and all. The car comes with engineering paperwork and is currently registered here in SA under historic registration.
