Before the Falcon, the Mainline was Ford's premium locally developed utility. This Mainline began its life in Bordertown, where it was owned by a farmer. The car was then purchased by a gentleman in Mount Gambier who restored the vehicle over the next 6 years. Today, the Mainline is presented in stunning condition, with excellent chrome work and a nice wood tub. It is powered by the correct 272ci (4.5L) overhead valve Y Block motor and 3-speed column shift manual transmission. The interior has seen a few upgrades, including bucket seats, though the original red bench seat is included in the sale and still in wonderful condition.
