Just Arrived - The XP Falcon was introduced in March 1965, replacing the XM Falcon which had been in production since 1964. It was the final series of the first-generation Falcon which had been introduced as the XK Falcon in 1960. The main change from the XM was the 'torque box' steel subframe which added structural rigidity to the car. This was a key in improving the public perception of the car, as the early models were considered flimsy and were unpopular with Australian fleet buyers. This particular 1966 Ford Falcon XP Coupe has had an older restoration and is updated with a 289 V8 engine and automatic gearbox. The car has been engineered and is on SA reg. The spec sheet on this vehicle is comprehensive with upgrades not only to the engine, gearbox, brakes, RRS rack and pinion steering plus more. The paint is very tidy for age and the interior is in very good order. Long term ownership. Comes with a file of receipts. Contact Ben Finnis - 0411 744 190. Interstate transport can be arranged.
