The car received a major restoration some 20 years ago and presents very nicely despite its age. Originally a 186 (3L), the HR has been done up to X2 specs, now sporting a 202 (3.3L) motor. This motor was built by Lewis Racing Motors and has been blueprinted and balanced, with Yella Terra roller rockers and performance valve springs, a Crow Cams Camshaft, flat-top high compression pistons, twin Strongberg 186 carburettors, and plenty more. The HR received a custom exhaust, a Salisbury 3.9 Borg Warner differential, Pedder Gas shocks, and a Toyota 4-speed manual transmission. Originally finished in Grecian White, the paint now has a lovely blue pearl coat over top which really makes this car shine. The original Dawson and Alaskan Aqua interior has been reupholstered, with bucket seats now in the front. This car comes with some amazing history, including a whole book dedicated to the parts fitted and the costs of each item.
