Christian & Co in Mortlake, VIC. The Holden Historic Services Production Report confirms this is a genuine Sandman. It rolled off the production line with a 308ci (5L) V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission and it is still driven by the factory combination today. Originally finished in Tuxedo Black, the Sandman is an older restoration. It was resprayed in a striking orange approximately 30 years ago which still presents very nicely. The Black interior was also refreshed in this time, along with an upgraded Pioneer radio and the typical 80s addition of an aftermarket sunroof. It is in lovely condition both inside and out and eligible for historic registration, so you can join your local car club and enjoy minimal on-road costs.
