When the Mini came under the ownership of British Leyland, they developed a new facelifted version. More square and a little larger than the Morris, the Leyland Mini was very distinctive from its earlier counterpart. This Mini is a great example. Powered by a 998cc motor and 4-speed manual, the Mini cruises along nicely and would undoubtedly be fun through the hills. It had a restoration in 2020 where it was brought back to bare metal and resprayed, with the chequered roof and racing number '8' giving it a personal touch. The owner has spent over $17,000 at Minisport on various items, with everything from indicator stalks and a choke cable to a Monza chrome petrol cap and polished alloy window winders. Additionally fitted was a stage 2 Cooper exhaust, Stedi LED headlights, and a set of Mini Ultralites.
