Mileage 213302 Engine 318 (5.2L) - V8 Rego SSE318 Just arrived - This 1977 Chrysler Valiant CL Regal SE is a very tidy original example. Of all 32,675 CL Valiants produced, 1,421 cars were equipped with the Regal SE package. This package included power windows, power steering, air conditioning, a hand-stitched instrument panel, deep reclining bucket seats, an option between cloth or leather interior, thick carpeting, electronic ignition, sound deadening, quartz iodine headlights, and steel-belted radial tyres. All Regal SEs came with a V8 as standard, the 318ci (5.2L) V8, and a 3-speed 'TorqueFlite A904' automatic transmission. According to the Valiant Infobase, this particular  CL was the 1088th Regal SE off the production line. On top of the SE package, it was optioned with a Cassette player, a 4-speaker sound system, 14x7 alloy wheels, Harvest Gold paint, and a Parchment Vinyl roof to match its Parchment leather interior. The Infobase also states that this CL is 1 of just 4 with the same build specifications. Sold new at Eastside Chrysler in VIC, the Infobase report confirms that this is a matching numbers car. While not new at 48 years of age, the CL is in wonderful survivor condition. Over the years, it has been fitted with a dual-fuel system and a Ferris cassette player, but otherwise remains largely original. It comes with a file of receipts, documenting the work done on the car over the years.
