Mileage 64559 Engine 1500cc - 4 Cylinder Rego SMG078 Just Arrived - This1978 MG Midget 1500 is a great little entry level classic and a neat package. The Midget 1500 saw a 1500cc 'Standard SC' motor donated from Triumph, the same that is used in the Spitfires, that produced higher torque than the earlier engines along with an all syncro-mesh 4 speed manual that was given taller gear ratios for faster acceleration. It had added front and rear bumpers as well as a taller ride height to fit with US regulations. Overall, this Midget presents quite well. It's paint and interior are very tidy, with reupholstered seats and SONY speakers fitted in the rear.
