Produced from 1986 to 1988, an estimated 151,801 VL Commodores rolled off the line. The Executive level set you back an approximate $15,150 in its day. With the introduction of Nissan's RB30E in place of the 202, fuel injection and radial tuned suspension, the VL was a very well-equipped car. This VL was sold new from John H. Ellers in Somerton Park and has remained with its first owner since then. It is powered by the naturally aspirated 3L RB30E inline 6 cylinder and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The car comes with its original books, and its condition is a credit to the owner. The Opel Fire Red paint is in wonderful condition for the age, as is the Grey interior with factory air conditioning and the original stereo.
