The Golf has to be one of the most well-known hot hatches in, well, ever. In 1976, Karmann decided to do something different with the MKI and developed a unique and pretty convertible design. The Karmann Golf was built entirely at the Karmann factory, with engines, suspension, and interior trim being provided by VW. Later designs got some upgrades, including a roll bar, electric roof, and a 'Clipper' body kit which comprised of smooth body-coloured bumpers, wheel-arch extensions, and side skirts. This Golf was built in Osnabrück, Germany, and delivered new to Northshore Volkswagen in Brookvale in 1990. It runs a 1.8L 4 cylinder with a 5 speed manual gearbox, keeping it true to its hot hatch nature. The Helios Blue paint remains in beautiful condition along with a well-presenting roof, and the car sits on a set of factory 14" alloy wheels.
