The Austin Healey BN1 is one of the all-time favourites in the world of classic English sportscars. With beautiful curves and sitting nice and low, they sure turn heads. Built from 1953 to 1955, there were approximately 10030 BN1s produced, with an estimated 10% built as right-hand drive. Like all BN1's, this Healey is fit with a 90 bhp 2660 cc 4 cylinder motor and a 3-speed manual gearbox with Overdrive on 2nd and 3rd. We believe this car to be a factory-built RHD car, making it one of roughly 1003 factory RHD BN1's. It has had recent work performed by AA Automotive, totalling approx $11,500, that returned the car to proper running condition. This included the brakes being replaced, inner wishbone bushes, general servicing, and other suspension and steering elements being checked and replaced where necessary. It has received a moderate restoration at some point in its life and presents as a wonderful condition driver. The red and black colour scheme compliments the car's shape very well, and it sits on a set of wire wheels to nicely finish it off.
