Lots of people look at this car but very few of them know what it is; which is one of the reasons why I have enjoyed owning it for the past 14 years. It’s a 1967 Thunderbird and this model is very rare in Australia - I have only ever seen one other on the road. A Southern California Left Hand Drive, it has the 390 motor, C6 trans, 29” diff. It was the first production Ford to be fitted with disk brakes. Motor and transmission have been fully rebuilt as were the steering box and heater core. New shocks and suspension rubbers. It has Holley 670CFM four barrel, but is otherwise stock. Rust free apart from some bubbling at leading edge of roof. This car is not perfect, the boot needs a re-trim and the seats could do with some stitching, but otherwise not at all bad for a 54 year old car. Recent new tyres and wheel alignment. It’s a joy to drive and is as reliable as you can get. She’s ready for a cruise down the esplanade or through the hills. On club reg, she has only even been a fair weather, weekend cruiser. Only serious buyers and offers please. $22,000. Willing to trade for decent motorhome with cash difference.
