Mileage 70023 Engine 649cc - Parallel Twin Rego S17AEE Just arrived - This 1959 Triumph Bonneville T120 is a beautiful bike, perfect for the collector. A stunning first-year example of the Bonneville, this Bonnie is an Australian-delivered, matching-numbers bike. Powered by its original 649cc air-cooled parallel twin (engine number 022841), this Bonnie is linked to its original four-speed gearbox (105378), all in the original frame (022841). It was built on 12/12/1958 with a QD rear wheel and a K2F magneto, and then dispatched to TKM Perth on 17/12/1958. It then found its way to SA in the early 60s, and was purchased in several parts by the current owner in 2023. Since then, the bike has been stripped and rebuilt with the original parts. The frame and tinware have been painted, and the correct rear guard, oil tank, toolbox, K2F magneto, and rear chain guard fitted. The gearbox and forks were stripped, checked and reassembled, and the handlebars were replaced. The stanchions, bushes, seals, main bearings, big-end shells, sludge tube, big-end bolts and nuts, cam bushes, pistons, barrels, and speedometer cable have all been replaced as well. The bike is now fitted with a new centre stand and side stand, and an elongated seat and pillion pegs provide ample room for a passenger.
