The XP Falcon was introduced in March 1965, replacing the XM which had been in production since 1964. It was the final series of the first-generation Falcon which had been introduced as the XK in 1960. The main change from the XM was the 'torque box' steel subframe which added structural rigidity to the car. This was key in improving the public perception of the car, as the early models were considered flimsy and were unpopular with Australian fleet buyers.
This particular XP is such a rare find. Originally delivered new at Alan G Vivian Pty Ltd on the 7/8/1965. Comes with the original owners manual, workshop manual and even the original brochure with hand written prices of the various models. Moving forward a few years our current owners inherited the car from his Father and the rest is history. He confirms over his tender the paint work has been tidied up and mechanical work has been carried out . We are delighted to be offering this very rare XP and as priced sensible, we believe this will not last long. Contact Ben Finnis for more details - 0411 744 190
