Just arrived - This 1971 Yamaha HT-1 is a rare little bike. Also known as the HT90, the HT was the very first enduro bike. It was the smaller version of the DT-1, and renowned for its simplicity. With a 4 speed manual transmission and an air-cooled two-stroke 89cc single, the HT-1 made approximately 8.4hp and 6.5lb-ft of torque, which enabled riders to have some fun in the dirt. Soon enough, it became popular as an entry-level model for young people out to enjoy trail riding. This HT is an Adelaide bike, which has recieved a ground up restoration and done approx. 20kms since its completion. The motor recieved a refresh including bearing seals, top end rebuild, new brakes, and all new electrics. The frame has been powder coated and the tank painted the iconic Yamaha Yellow and presents incredibly well. This HT would make a fantastic show piece in the garage or first bike.
