Only a hand full painted in this Factory Monterey Green colour. ( Paint code matches the data plate ) Our clients are the 4th owners and have had the car for about 23 years. Engine, gearbox , clutch, shocks, and diff have done less than 3000km. This car had a bare metal repaint about 25 years ago and has been garaged ever since. There are general chips and marks on the paint. There is a small area on the boot lid with some rust which has not broken the surface- been there about 15 years. There is a dent in the passenger side door sill. Stone chips on the rear flares The car has been developed over the last 30 years to be a very capable competition vehicle mainly aimed at Targa-style events with a CAM’s approved roll cage and the car is Cams Log Booked and still road registered. Engine This Engine was fully rebuilt by Peter Schaffer of Performance Technics and has only done about 3000km. 355 stroker, new 304 block,4 bolt main ,K-line lifter inserts, New Harrop crank, new rods , Dave Bennett -9 VN style heads with Yellow Terra roller rockers, Harrop high raise inlet manifold , Barry Grant Gold Claw carburettor ( new carbi kit 3 months ago ).Electric CVR water pump ( new) PWR Aluminium radiator and twin Thermo fans. 120Amp alternator , Moroso oil accumulator with isolation soleniod. Sump is windaged and gated .Extractors are ceramic-coated, stainless steel exhaust systems. Underbody aluminium heat shield at the firewall and gearbox tunnel. Engine was Dyno tune 500HP , 400ft/Lb and redlines @7000 rpm. Running a MSD AL6 ( rev limiter 6800 )I-shift progressive shift light set to 6500rpm Gearbox Is a G-Force T5 close ratio dog box ( rated to 600hp and 600lb ), with short shift, New Mal Wood ACE hydraulic centre throughout bearing. Extreme heavy duty ,sprung button clutch with a billet lightened flywheel. Diff is a Borg Warner VL housing ,KAZZ limited slip diff centre, which is packed in race mode, Romac full floating axle bearing set-up. ( Spare ,new axles ). Oversize tail shaft. Fuel system 120lt Aluminium drop tank, foam filled,( internal swirl pot – not being used in the config at this point ) Twin submersible fuel pumps , Barry Grant 220 main fuel pump and external swirl pot, . New -6 teflon ,braided fuel lines. Electrical Has just had a full race re-wire. Battery Optima Red cap 1000 CCA , New in OCT 22 Suspension Power steering - Electric power assist style Front K-frame is Solid mounted with Aluminium bushes. Front stub axles have been tubed and simmed. Front running 1100lb springs , HZ stub alxes , Harrop A9X steering arms, Koni bumper /rebound adjustable shock absorbers. Heavy duty sway bar with new pedders bushes Rear running  240lb springs , Koni bumper /rebound adjustable shock absorbers. Wheels Simmons OM ,GOLD, mirror lip ,deep dish 3 piece Rims with “R” spec tyres 17 /8 inch ( 4 rims and tyres ) ,  17/9 inch ( 2 Rims and tyres Brakes Front rotors are  HSV 330mm ventilated with Brembo 4 pot callipers , Pagid Blue brake pads Rear rotor are commodore ventilated with RX7 4 pot callipers ,Pagid blue brake pads. Tilton 600 series overhung brake ( remote Bias Balance bar ) and clutch pedals and Tilton master cylinders. Hydraulic hand brake.
