In the renewed boost of the sports car market, Mercedes dipped its toes in the middle with the SLK230. A midsized convertible two-seater, with some retro-inspired styling, and a supercharger on the top. Fit with standard air-conditioning, power windows, electric-operated steel convertible roof, remote central locking, immobiliser, and dual airbags, it wasn't short of creature comforts. This SLK is an original Australian-delivered car, powered by a 2.3L Supercharged 4 cylinder motor that produces 190hp. This is paired to a 5 speed '5G Tronic' automatic transmission as is featured in the later AMG models. The SLK has also received AMG upgrades including AMG wheels and side skirts. The hardtop roof works a treat and is perfect for those sunny days. It is finished in beautiful Zircon silver and presents in wonderful condition for the age of the vehicle.
