The sheer performance and acceleration through the gears, especially second and third, is exhilarating. The coupe Fiat was the fastest Front Wheel Drive production car at the time. Hand-built and interior designed by Pininfarina, with the exterior designed by Chris Bangle of BMW fame. The overall condition of the car is very good. The car has been meticulously maintained using mainly European 100% synthetic lubricants (Motul) during its low 120K’S life. Very recently, I have future-proofed the car by having all the belts and tensioners, along with a new water pump, replaced by Frank’s Pitstop in Sydney, and it was given a clean bill of health. Also, the front struts and inner and outer tie rod ends (near side ) have been replaced. Also supplied new rear shocks (not fitted) The battery is about 1 year old, and it sits on speed-rated Kumo tyres which are in very good condition. It has a new roof lining, plus many other items replaced as needed. There are also many new parts which will go with the car including brake pads, new clutch slave and a stainless manifold. I’ve never had issues with obtaining parts (happy to advise the new owner) This is the last production run, which is fitted with a silky 6-speed gearbox coupled to a 20-valve 5-cyl turbo motor.
