1972 Mercedes-Benz 350SL

This 1972 Mercedes-Benz 350SL is a lovely example of a classic with modern features. Driven by a 3.5L fuel injected V8 and a 3-speed automatic this 350SL is an Australian delivered vehicle. The current owner has possessed the car for the last 20 years and driven and enjoyed it, but it is now surplus to needs. Finished in a brilliant silver, the 350SL was resprayed by one of the previous owners and still presents quite well for an older restoration, though it is certainly not new. The original blue leather interior has been protected by sheepskin seat covers, and demonstrates power steering, power windows, and an upgraded Kenwood radio, and air conditioning. The 350SL is a hard top convertible, and also comes with a soft top (needs restoring). There is a file of history to go with the car, and the number plates ‘RSL350’ are also available if the car is to stay in SA. Eligible for historic registration, enjoy substantially lower on-road cost as well as drive with like-minded enthusiasts. This is a fantastic option for those who want a modern classic car to continue their classic motoring journey in comfort.
